Memoirs are a collection of one’s life. They bring together the best and the worst of the experiences that one has, and then reflects on it. In a way, it’s like a diary entry. It encompasses all of one moment, and then expands on it. It brings light to what was seemingly dark, and it opens doors to previously closed paths. It’s a piece of one’s life, and it brings the best or worst out of the writer.
