Dreams come in many shapes. It all depends on what that particular dream is, but, the undeniable truth behind dreams is that they all share a common shape, that of which, is a marble.
But, dreams don’t usually take physical shapes, and normal humans would never be able to see them anyway.
However, on the off chance that a dream does take physical shape, that can only mean that one thing has happened; a dream has been shattered. Those shattered dreams are left to wander the earth until they are picked up by the one who was created to collect shattered dreams.

Shattered Dreams began as a short story I wrote (http://wp.me/p6oCGV-aJ) back in 2016 in which I took a few inspirations from a short film created by Wong fu Productions. It was written in the style that I usually write in, that of which is a more surreal slice-of-life, somewhere between magic realism and just plain realism. It was only supposed to be this kind of one off story of someone who collects shattered dreams and it was supposed to be this kind of cool heartwarming concept that lasted for just that, a short story. But, recently, I’ve had the idea of making that world, and of that dream collecting character into something much more.
As it were, I wanted to retain that kind of episodic feel to the whole story, and so, this novel or book, or whatever it may be called, is written episodically with chapters not necessarily needing to be read in order, but, in the manner that slice of life media is formatted, still having an overarching plot thread. In other words, each chapter features a different story, a different idea, and sometimes, I’ll make more drastic “plot” advances, but, I’ll try to keep it as consistent as possible such that you don’t “need” to actually read chapters in order.
So yeah, to those who this may come across, hopefully it becomes something enjoyable, and any feedback towards the style of writing, or the content itself is appreciated as this is essentially internet “content” as it were, and I am keen on criticism.
